"My Grandpa is a Biker"

I've been thinking about my dad a lot lately. The anniversary of the day we lost him is coming close (2 months) and it just seems very unreal still. He was probably the best friend I ever had and will ever had (besides my hubby of course) and I still feel every day that a part of me is missing because he is no longer here. I was a daddy's girl through and through and losing him has been the hardest thing and worst thing to ever happen in my life! My little boy will never know what it is like to be held by him, laugh with him and hug him. He will know though, what an amazing man he was, how loving, honest (sometimes too honest, haha), kind and tough (when he needed to be) he was and he will know all of that because I will see to it. I speak to him about my dad a lot. My nephew called my dad Pop Pop and I think it's perfect for Jack to call him as well so that he doesn't get confused since his other grandpa lives upstairs. I tell Jack about Pop Pop at least once a day, I tell him either something about him or I'll say "oh, Pop Pop would have loved that!". I know he doesn't understand now but it's so important to me to keep my dad 'alive' for him so that he can grow up 'knowing' him.

Anyway, getting to the point of this post, my in-laws were out shopping today and came home (we live downstairs from them) and said they had a present for Jack, something I would really like. I couldn't imagine what this could possible be and then they handed me this little light blue zip up hooded sweatshirt for Jack and instantly tears started to flow. They must hear me when I speak of my dad and they know how much it hurts me every day to not have him here anymore so they got Jack the most awesome thing anyone has gotten him so far. Want to know why it was so awesome? Here is why:
How awesome is that?!?! I only hope my dad is proud and smiling when he sees Jack wearing this!
