Our little monkey turned 11 months old on Tuesday...I can't believe our little boy, our peanut, will be 1 in less than a month now! He looks more & more like a little boy these days and less like a baby. He plays with toys more, moves around more and is just so much fun. I know I've said it before but I think this might be my favorite age so far. I do miss the times when I could put him down in one place, turn my head for a minute and he would still be there but this is a lot of fun too. I think I get less & less done during the day when he is awake now but we play more so I guess it all balances out :o)
He can now crawl, wave 'hi', pull up to standing on everything & anything, he just started doing 'so big' (which I am so proud of since we've been working on it for awhile) and just a million more things. He doesn't say the typical 'dada' but instead says 'dadadaddy' which I love! He has such a great & fun personality. He loves to find people across the room wherever we are and stare at them until they smile and then he becomes 'shy'. He will wave and smile and then look away like all of a sudden he is shy and it gets everyone all of the time! What can I say, he knows how to work people...already! Yes, I'm aware that we are in big trouble!
Lastly for this post...we FINALLY have more teeth! Jack cut all 4 front teeth just about as soon as he turned 9 months and then we had a little bit of a break. This past week he has cut 2 more teeth, a 3rd bottom one and a 3rd top (which I think is an eye tooth? not sure though). I think he is still getting more though, I hope it doesn't take as long to get more again but I guess we'll have to wait & see.ok, I think that's all for now. Nothing new & exciting is going on for Joe & I, except we did book our trip to FL for July...we can't wait & only hope Jack is as good on the plane this time as he was at 3 months old...hmmm...
